Bálint Bassola is Of Counsel in charge of the firm’s Competition & Regulatory practice.
He has been active in the field of competition law for more than 20 years.
At the beginning of his career, Bálint was working during six years as a Case Handler at the Hungarian Competition Authority. Subsequently, he was working in the competition law practice group of international and regional law firms.
Bálint is a graduate of Eötvös Loránd University of Budapest, earned an LL.M. at the College of Europe in Bruges and also studied in Strasbourg (France) and Regensburg (Germany).
His experience includes cartel law, abuse of dominance, merger control, unfair commercial practices, consumer protection, EU regulatory issues (DMA, etc.), legal compliance and private enforcement of competition law (cartel damages, etc.).
