Ivana Stankovic

Ivana Stankovic is a partner. She is primarily involved in complex foreign investment matters, cross-border transactions in Southeast Europe, as well as competition and regulatory issues. Her expertise spans the entire project cycle, from legal structuring to contractual and institutional negotiation.

She holds a French master’s degree (DEA) in European law, which gives her an in-depth knowledge of European and international standards, combined with an understanding of regional and national institutional mechanisms.

A former Deputy Ambassador of Serbia to France, Ivana has held high-level diplomatic and legal positions. Her legal career includes significant involvement in the field of foreign investments, first as legal advisor to the Minister of International Economic Relations, and later overseeing the regulatory framework for competition. She served as Head of the Competition Protection Division at the Ministry of Trade, and then as Deputy Director of the Merger Control Department at the Competition Protection Authority. She has also taught international business law at the Belgrade University of Management.

With solid knowledge of the telecommunications sector, she chaired for several years the Assembly of Parties of the European Telecommunications Satellite Organization (EUTELSAT IGO) based in Paris.

Ivana is a member of the Belgrade Bar Association.
